AR Change Local Transaction Date window

This menu item allows you to set a new default system date for processing transactions. This date only affects Accounts Receivable transactions, it is not a global system change and will remain until you exit the module and end the session. For more information on how Denali uses transaction dates, see Working with Dates.

Transaction Date

You can change the transaction date from your system date to any date within the fiscal calendar and enter as many transactions as you want for that date. This might be useful if, for instance, you forgot to enter some transactions a week ago. You can later use this option to change the date back to the current date. You can have transactions with different dates in the same batch. The date of each individual transaction will control the accounting period into which it will post.
