AR Customers window: Leased Items tab
If you lease items to customers, you can view the lease details on this tab. After you post a sales transaction that contains a leased item, it appears on this tab.
Leased items appear in your inventory as On Hand and are included in inventory valuation, but will not be available for lease or sale.
Item
This is the stock item that is leased.
Description
This defaults to the description attached to the stock item, but you can edit it.
Serial Number
This is the serial number of the leased item.
Start Date
This is the start date of the lease. If you chose to
include the Start Date in your sales layout, it is the date you entered; otherwise it is the transaction date. You can edit this field.
Expiration Date
This is the expiration date of the lease. If you chose to
include the Expiration Date in your sales layout, it is the date you entered; otherwise, it is the start date plus the term of the lease. You can edit this field.
