Occasionally, you might find it necessary to force your bank accounts into balance. To do this, you can rebuild the account totals. This function uses the latest statement amount and the calculated amount of outstanding items to determine the correct running balance.

If you need to rebuild your totals, select Period End Tasks > Rebuild Bank Account Totals from the left navigation pane.
