IN Understock window

The Inventory Understock Report shows the minimum acceptable levels of inventory and the additional quantities needed to return inventory to these predetermined levels.

To management, this report is considered an exceptions report which indicates inventory items that need to be replenished.

Process For All IN Codes / IN Code

This check box allows you to include stock items with any Inventory Code on the report. If you leave this unselected, you must select an individual Inventory Code to include in the report. The default for this check box is checked.

Report Type

Select either Understock or Advanced Understock from the drop-down list.

If you choose Understock, all options are available in the window and the Inventory Understock Report will print when you select OK. The Understock Report shows stock items at or below your desired minimums.

If you choose Advanced Understock, some fields and options in this window are disabled and the Inventory Advanced Understock Report will print when you select OK. This report shows stock items at or below your desired minimums and also includes recent sales of the stock items selected to report.

Sort By / Additional Filter

These drop-down lists allow you to sort the report or filter data using one of the predefined or user-defined fields, and to specify the range of values that you wish to include.

The Additional Filter option is disabled for the Advanced Understock Report.

Start and End Ranges: Stock Number, Description, Product Type, Vendor, and Location

Location is only available if you have Multi-Location Inventory installed.

The Start and End boxes allow you to define the range of items to include on the report. You can include a single item by entering the same value in both boxes. These default settings include all items that meet the remaining criteria set in the window. Type in the fields or use the Lookup to make your selections.

Print Last Cost

This option is disabled for the Advanced Understock Report. Select this check box to print the last cost paid for each stock item included on the report. The default for this check box is unchecked.

Print Quantity On Hand

This option is disabled for the Advanced Understock Report. You can print the quantity on hand by selecting this check box. The default for this check box is unchecked.

Print Quantity Committed

This option is disabled for the Advanced Understock Report. You can print the Committed quantity of the item by selecting this check box. The Committed quantity is the quantity of the stock item that has been saved in transactions but not yet posted. The default for this check box is unchecked.

Print Vendor’s Stock No.

This option is disabled for the Advanced Understock Report. Select this check box if you want the vendor's stock number to be printed on the report instead of your stock number. The default for this check box is unchecked.
