JC Estimated vs Actual Cost Report window
Use this report to see how your estimated costs compare to your actual costs.
Report Type 
From the drop-down, select the report type you want to view. You can choose:
Detailed: this report displays detailed information about the estimated units, estimated cost per unit, estimated total cost, actual units, actual cost per unit, actual total cost, and the variance for each Cost Code in the job.
Condensed: this report displays estimated units, estimated cost per unit, estimated total cost, actual units, actual cost per unit, actual total cost, and the variance for each Cost Code type in the job.
Summary: this report displays a summary of job totals that include the estimated sales price, estimated costs, estimated gross margin %, amount billed, actual costs, and actual gross profit to date.
Sort By 
Use the drop-down to select how you want to sort the report. You can choose from:
Job Due Date
Job Number
Job Start Date
Date Range 
From the drop-down, select a predefined period to run the report for.  
Page break by Job Number 
Select this check box if you want to begin each job on a new page.
Include completed jobs 
Select this check box if you want to view completed jobs on the report. Jobs are complete when you select the Job Complete check box in the JC Job Maintenance window.
Due Date 
Type the dates or use the drop-down to select the starting and ending due dates for which you want to run the report.
Start and End: Job Number, Phase, Cost Code 
The Start and End boxes allow you to define the range of items to include on the report. You can include a single item by entering the same value in both boxes. These default settings include all items that meet the remaining criteria set in the window. Type in the fields or use the Lookup to make your selections.
Cost Code Types to Include 
Use these check boxes to select the type of Cost Codes you want to include on the report. Your options are All, Material, Subcontractor, General, and Process.
