The most anticipated feature of this release is our completely revamped budget management window. Budgets are now easier to set up and easier to manage, and filters make finding specific budget information in the grid quick and painless. You can even set expense controls that will warn you when an account is almost over budget or stop posting to an account that will be over budget.

The grid is color-coded so you can instantly see accounts over budget, revenue accounts that are exceeding your goals, and, if you set up expense control warnings, accounts that are over your warning limit.

If you currently have budgets set up, you will need to Finalize and Save your budgets in the new window.

To access the Budget Management window, click Chart of Accounts > Manage Budgets in the left navigation pane. For specific information about the budget management features, click the Help button in the window.
