Sales Customer Special Pricing Codes window

Customer Special Pricing is used to assign a particular price for a selected item to the same customer every time the customer is sold that item. This option is only available if you have Accounts Receivable installed and Sales is integrated to Accounts Receivable.

Customer

Enter the customer number to which you want to assign a special price for a stock item (or multiple stock items). The pricing you assign in this window will apply only to the customer you select.

Stock Items and Pricing

Use this grid to identify the items this customer will be receiving at special prices and the special prices for the items.

Stock Item

Enter the number of the stock item for which you want to assign a special price for this customer.

Description

The description for this stock item will appear automatically.

Price

Enter the price to assign to the stock item for this customer.

These special prices will not appear in any Lookups, so we recommend you print the report in this window. Use the option buttons in this section to specify the order in which you want items to appear on the report. Since you might want to look up a customer special price by customer or by stock item, we recommend you print the report twice, once using each option.

Order by Customer / Order by Stock Item

Select Order by Customer to print the Special Pricing Code report sorted by customer, or Order by Stock Item to print the Special Pricing Code report sorted by stock item.

Allow User to Override Price at Time of Sale

Select this check box to allow the salesperson to override the special price you set here during sales entry. Individual salesperson rights will affect this setting; even if this check box is selected, only salespeople with the rights to override price information will be permitted to override the special price.

Override Price Above with Best Price on Sale

Select this check box to have the system select the lowest price available at the time of sale. If you leave this check box unchecked, the special price above will be used regardless of any other promotions or special pricing available.
