Sales POS Daily Register Reports window
The POS Daily Register reports provide pertinent details of a cashier’s or register’s performance for a specified date range. As opposed to the Register Status Report, only posted register activity is included in this report.
Report
Select one of the following Daily Register reports. Time will be available as a sorting option only if you select Daily Sales Activity from this drop-down list.
Daily Register Totals (default): prints a detailed report of the balancing process including opening cash amounts, tender collected, and total receipts for a specified range of dates and registers.
Closing (Z) Report: prints a report listing all posted sales activity including voids for a specified range of dates and registers. This report can be printed in either a detailed or summary format.
Daily Sales Activity: prints a report of all posted sales activity for a specified range of dates and registers. The report can be sorted by either quantity or dollar amounts and prints in detailed format.
Report Type
This field will only show if you select to print the Closing (Z) Report. You can choose from two formats for this report.
Detailed: the Detailed report will show each item sold, the quantity, price, and net total, along with counts for customers, refunds, voids, paid outs, and alternate tenders. It also includes totals for each register.
Summary: the Summary report will show the same information as the Detailed report, but only reflects the one total for each item.
Start and End Ranges: Date and Register Code
Select the date and Register Code range of the transactions to include in the report. Only sales for the selected dates and registers are included in the report.
Sort By
This option is only available if you are printing the Daily Sales Activity Report. Select how you want to sort the line item detail from the Sort By drop-down list. The options are Time (default), Quantity, and Dollar. If you accept foreign currency, it will be reflected in US Dollars in this report.
