Specify a Default Location for Multi-Batch Entry
If you use multiple batches, the default location you specified in Inventory (see Setting the Primary Location of Your Inventory) can be changed for specific batches in Order Entry.
To set up the location for multi-batch transaction entry:
1 In Sales, select Order Entry Tasks > Set Up a New Batch from the left navigation pane.

2 Use the Default Location drop-down list to select a location to use as the default location.
Keep in mind the following important aspects when you set the default location with multi-batch entry:
The default location specified in the Sales Set Up Order Entry Batch window will override any setting anywhere else in the system.
The default location must be set in Inventory.
3 Click the Save button to keep these settings.
