Server and Port
This utility identifies workstation (client) computers to the license server. You can identify the workstation by using its IP address or the computer name. You will also specify the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) port that will direct communication between the workstation and server machines.
To identify the workstation (client) computer to the server by setting the license server port:
1 From the Denali License Utilities menu, select Server and Port.
Click thumbnail for a larger view of image.
2 Leave the Use machine name for server address check box unchecked if you want to use the default IP address, or click the check box to use the computer’s name.
3 Create and enter the port (TCP/IP) number into the Server Port box.
This number defines the port’s identity so that the server can find it.
4 Click OK to set this server and port.
