Voiding a Layaway Transaction
After you save a canceled layaway transaction, you cannot edit it; you need to void it to make any changes. If the layaway hasn’t been canceled, and you want to edit it, you can
cancel the layaway and re-enter it.
To void an unposted canceled layaway:
1 In the Sales Order Entry or Sales POS Register window, select Transaction > Retrieve Transaction > Layaway from the menu bar.
2 Select the layaway transaction you want to void from the Lookup.
3 Click OK in the message that appears indicating you cannot edit this transaction.
4 Click Transaction > Void from the menu bar.
5 Click Yes in the message that asks if you’re sure you want to void the transaction.
