AR Customers window: Tran History tab
Use the Tran History tab to display a detailed history of both charge and payment transactions for this customer. You can view Accounts Receivable payments, Order Entry/Point of Sale invoice charges, and Point of Sale account payments.
You can double-click a transaction in the grid to drill-down to the
History Report specific to the transaction you select (Invoice to Payment or Payment to Invoice) for the selected customer. You can print the report for future reference or close it to return to the
AR Customers window.
Code
This column displays the transaction code.
Date
This column displays the date of the transaction.
Source Doc
This column displays the source document number for the transaction.
Description
This column displays the transaction description.
Amount
This column displays the amount of the transaction.
Cash
This column tells you if this was a cash transaction.
Amt Remaining
This column displays the amount the customer owes for the transaction. The customer is responsible for this amount.
Total Amt Remaining
This column shows the total amount the customer owes including all attached
payers. The customer might not be responsible for this amount.
Search
To initiate a search of the detailed history, click on one of the table column headings to use the Search function. For example, if you want to search the displayed history by a specific date, click on the Date column heading or enter the date in the Search for Date field that appears.
Charges / Payments / Both
Use these buttons to filter the transaction history detail. You can use these to view only charges made, payments received, or both types of transactions posted to this customer’s account.
