AR Salesperson Codes window
Salesperson Codes are used in the Sales module, but you can create them in the Accounts Receivable module for convenience. This allows you to create and attach a specific Salesperson Code to a customer without leaving Accounts Receivable.
Assign a Salesperson Code to each person that will enter a sale in the system.
Salesperson Code
Enter a code of up to six characters to identify this Salesperson Code. You can use letters, numbers, or special characters; for example, DAYMGR. Some businesses use the salesperson’s initials.
Description
Use this box to enter a description that will help you to identify this Salesperson Code; for example, Day Shift Manager. This can be up to 50 characters in length.
Password
Enter a password for this salesperson. This prevents clerks from performing unauthorized functions by using someone else’s Salesperson Code. Keep in mind that this password is case-sensitive.
