AR Salesperson Codes window: General tab
Use this tab to define options you want this salesperson to have access to.
Refunds / Special Orders / Modify Kits / Void Transaction / Terms Code Override / Credit Limit Override / Allow Preauthorized Transactions / Price Override / Allow Discounts / Save Transaction without Printing / Allow Flagged Check Override / Allow Past Due Accounts Override/ Edit Saved Invoices/Receipts 
These check boxes on the left side of the window allow you to define the tasks this salesperson can perform.
For example, select the Terms Code check box to allow this salesperson to override the customer’s terms specified in Accounts Receivable for an individual sale. Or, if you check Allow Flagged Check Override, this salesperson will be able to accept checks from customers that have been flagged because a previous check was returned for non-sufficient funds. For specific information about each option, see Sales Salesperson Codes.
Maximum Check Amount / Credit Card Amount Limit / Maximum AR Credit Amount 
Use these boxes to specify the check and credit limits you want to allow this salesperson to handle.
For example, if you want management approval on checks over $300.00, enter 300 in the Maximum Check Amount box.
Customer Query 
Use this drop-down to define the level of access this salesperson has to customer records. You can select:
Not Allowed: the Salesperson cannot view or change customer records.
Inquiry Only: the Salesperson can only view customer records.
Inquiry and Edit: the Salesperson can both view and edit customer records.
Inventory Query 
Use this drop-down to define the level of access this salesperson has to inventory records. You can select:
Not Allowed: the Salesperson cannot view or change inventory records.
Inquiry Only: the Salesperson can only view inventory records.
Inquiry and Edit: the Salesperson can both view and edit inventory records.
POS Register Only
The settings in this section only apply to the Sales POS Register window and are only available if you have Point of Sale installed.
Paid Out / Balance Register / Quick Count 
Use these check boxes to specify whether this salesperson can conduct paid out transactions, whether they can balance the register, or if the salesperson can use the quick count feature in Point of Sale.
Check Over Amount of Purchase 
Enter the amount over the purchase price this salesperson can accept a check for. If a customer presents an amount greater than you specify here, the salesperson will need to get approval before they can complete the transaction.
Totals
These boxes show the history for this Salesperson Code. They automatically update when you post transactions that use this code and you cannot manually change them.
Date of Last Sale 
This box shows the date of the last sale posted using this Salesperson Code.
Amount of Last Sale 
This box shows the amount of the last transaction posted using this Salesperson Code.
