When you import information from an external file, the information in the file being imported must be in the proper format. For example, fields might need to be a certain length. Make sure that your formatting is correct to avoid possible errors. We provide tables in the following topics that indicate the file format requirements to use in the Import/Export window. Note that for fields that indicate “Char-Caps”, the import file can have lowercase characters; the system converts the characters to uppercase during the import process.
