CMS Change Global Denali Date window
Use this window to change the
system date (global Denali date). The system date is the date that has been set in your server’s/computer’s memory. The software will automatically detect the operating system date when you open a module.
You can set this date for a particular session. A session is the duration of time from when you open the system until you exit the system. If, for instance, you need to enter transactions for December 17th, but the current date is December 30th, you can change the default date for the session back to the 17th. Once you complete the transactions, you can exit the system or change the date back to December 30th.
If you want this change to affect all the modules, you must select one of the Global Denali Date options on the
System Settings tab of the
CMS Organization Information window. If you select one of the Use Computer Date options, this change will only affect Controller.
Enter System Date
Type in the date or use the drop-down calendar to set a session (system) date. Click OK to set your choice or Cancel to exit the window without saving a date change.
This date will be reflected on transactions that are generated during the session. Once you close the session and reopen Denali, the default date will appear.
