The Auto-Fill Feature
The auto-fill feature helps you enter information by filling in the remaining text in a box as you type information already stored in a record. For example, as you type the name of an existing stock item, auto-fill completes the remainder. This can save you time and also ensure that you enter information consistently. Auto-fill is available for a variety of records including AR customer number, IN stock number, AP vendor number, and GL account number.
If you don’t want to use the auto-fill feature, you can turn it off by changing the
system settings for your organization.
