The Command Buttons
Many of the Denali windows include a group of common buttons called the command buttons. These buttons perform the same functions in each window. Some windows have additional buttons.

Refer to this table for an explanation of the command buttons and their functionality in the system.
Command Button
Function / Description
Select the Save button to save any changes you make in a window.
Select the Cancel button if you do not want to save any changes you made and you want to close the window.
Select a record and select the Edit button if you want to make changes to the record.
After you select a record, clicking the Edit button will change the Edit button to the Del button. Select the Del button if you would like to delete the selected record.
Select the Clear button if you want to clear any information in the window but you do not want to close the window.
Select the New button if you are viewing a previously saved record and want to create a new one.
Select the Print button to print information relevant to the records displayed in the window.
Use the Find button and arrows to search for records. The Find button will open a Lookup for the records. Selecting the arrow buttons will navigate through the records one by one.
Select the Help button to open a context-sensitive help topic related to the open and active window or tab.
