The drill-down feature is only available in certain windows, for example, the AR Customers and AP Vendors windows, and allows you to a drill-down to a report.

When you hover the mouse pointer over the grid fields in a window, the mouse turns into a magnifying glass over paper to indicate when you can drill down to view report information. For example, in the AP Vendors window you can drill down to the Invoice to Payment Report or Payment to Invoice Report. In some windows, a magnifying-glass icon is located to the left of the line item that you can click to activate the drill-down feature.
