If you have Specialty Shop installed, you can create Multi-Pack Codes that are assigned to specific stock items. Use these codes to specify pricing for different types of packaging in which a stock item is available: for example, a 6-pack of soda versus a 12-pack. Then you can specify a range of dates for which special pricing is in effect for a particular Multi-Pack Code.
