IN Stock window: Variants tab
This tab is only available if you selected the Use Variants check box above. In the grid, enter all the variations for this stock item. When you purchase or sell the item, you will need to choose the variant from the drop-down in the Description field.
Variant Description
Enter the variation for the stock item. For example, a color or size. This will appear in the Description field Lookups when you sell or purchase an item so you can choose the correct variant.
Price Override
If this price for this variant is different than the price you entered on the Qty/Price Info tab, enter it here.
On Hand
This shows the on-hand quantity of the variant. If there is an on-hand quantity, you can’t change the Description or delete the variant. You must add quantity through the
IN Adjust Stock Quantities window or through Purchase Order.
SKU/UPC
You can assign this variant a specific SKU/UPC number. It will be attached to this variant as well as any aliases set up for it. When you enter the SKU/UPC in Sales or Purchase Order, the variant will autofill in the Description field.
