Once you add the image for the stock item, you can set the default display mode.

To set the default view, use the Display Mode drop-down list on the Sales Info tab of the IN Stock window, which will determine how you want the image to display. Keep in mind that the default setting affects both the Inventory and Sales modules for viewing images.
