JC Transfer to Inventory window: Work In Process tab
This tab is enabled if you select Detailed (Add) from the Transfer Type drop-down. Enter the WIP you want to transfer to Inventory.
Type
From the drop-down, select if you want to add a Material, Subcontractor, Process, or General Cost Code to the detail grid.
Phase
If you want to filter the reference numbers that appear in the Activity Detail Lookup based on the phase, type the phase or use the Lookup to select the phase from which you want to transfer WIP.
Cost Code
If you want to filter the reference numbers that appear in the Activity Detail Lookup based on the Cost Code, type the Cost Code or use the Lookup to select the Cost Code from which you want to transfer WIP.
Reference
Type the reference number or use the Lookup to select the number for which you want to transfer WIP. If you did not enter a phase or Cost Code, the Lookup will show all reference numbers. If you entered a phase and/or Cost Code, the Lookup will be filtered based on your selections.
WIP Available
After you select a reference number, this field auto-fills with the available WIP. You cannot edit this field.
Amount
After you select a reference number, this field auto-fills with the WIP amount to transfer. If this is a Process Cost Code, you cannot edit this field. For any other Cost Code type, enter the amount of WIP you want to transfer. The amount cannot be greater than the WIP Available.
