PO Purchase History window
In this window you can view your purchase history for the selected vendor. You can also use this history to conveniently add previously purchased items to the current order. If the purchase order you accessed this window from is in read-only mode, some options are disabled.
Both
Click this button to view both stock item and direct expense history in the Historical Data for Vendor grid.
Stock Items
Click this button to view only stock item history in the Historical Data for Vendor grid.
Direct Expense
Click this button to view only direct expense history in the Historical Data for Vendor grid.
Search for Item
Type the item you’re searching for in the field. The system will move through the Historical Data for Vendor grid and highlight the line item matching (or closest to, if there is nothing matching) what you type.
Include Button
Click this button to add the selected line items from history that you want to include in the current transaction to the Specified Items to Add to PO grid.
Remove Button
Click this button to remove selected lines from the Specified Items to Add to PO grid.
Historical Data for Vendor
This grid displays the purchases for the selected vendor based on the last time an item was received. A single line shows for each item regardless of the number of times it was purchased. The information in this grid is for reference only and cannot be edited. You can use your mouse to drag detail line items from the top grid to the Specified Items to Add to PO grid, or you can select line items and use the Include button.
To sort the items in the grid by a specific column, click the column title. To reverse the sort order, click the column title again. You can also click the icons to the left and right of a line item to open either the PO Item History Report or PO Vendor Performance Report, respectively, for the selected vendor.
First Purchase
This column shows the date of the first purchase order on which this item was purchased.
Last Purchase
This column shows the date of the last purchase order on which this item was purchased.
Item
This column shows the stock item number or general ledger account of the item that was ordered.
Description
This column shows the description of the item in this detail line.
Last Order Qty
This column shows the quantity of the item the last time it was purchased.
Est. Unit Cost
This column shows the unit price of the item the last time it was purchased from the selected vendor.
Turnaround
This column shows the number of days it took to receive this item the last time it was purchased from the selected vendor. This is calculated by the number of days between the purchase order date and the received date.
Specified Items to Add to PO
This grid shows the items that will be added to the current order. With the exception of the Quantity to Order column, the information in this grid cannot be changed. To sort by a different column, click the title of the column. To reverse the sort order, click the title again.
Quantity to Order
This column shows the quantity of the current line item that you are adding to the current order. This is the only field of the grid that you can edit. You can specify the quantity of the item in this window or change it directly in the transaction window.
Item
This column shows the line item selected in the top grid that will be added to the current transaction.
Description
This column shows the description of the item.
