Overview of the Receiving Window
The PO Receive Items window can be broken into five sections. Each section contains different information and the tabs in the layout window allow you to customize what your buyers will see or be able to edit in each section. The image and table in this topic will help you understand which parts of the receiving window will be affected by the preferences you set on each tab in the PO Set Up Purchasing/Receiving Layout window.

Receiving Information
The fields in this section of the window are used to display and enter information about the entire transaction. See Defining Header/Receiving Information for information on setting up the layout of this section.
Detail Information
The fields in this section of the window are used to display the items in the transaction. For additional information on setting up the layout of this section, see Defining Detail Information.
Landing Information
The fields in this section of the window are used to enter and display information about the landing costs for this transaction. Refer to Defining Landing Information for additional information on setting up the layout of this section.
Invoice Information
The fields in this section of the window are used to enter and display information about the invoice. For additional information on setting up the layout of this section, see Defining Invoicing Information.
Transaction Total
The fields in this section of the window reflect the various running totals pertaining to the current transaction.
