Sales Set Up Order Entry Batch window
Use this window to set up a new batch to enter transactions into.
Batch Number
This field is read-only and is a unique number assigned by the system to identify this batch. After you set up a batch, this number appears on the right-hand side of the Status Bar at the bottom of the window.
Identity
This field auto-fills with the time the batch was created and the User ID of the person that created the batch. You can edit this as necessary.
Date Created
This field is read-only and is the date the batch was created.
Transactions
This field is read-only and displays the number of transactions in the batch. You can only delete a batch if this field shows zero.
Sales Entry Layout Code
Use this drop-down to select the sales entry window you want to use for this batch. This defaults to the Sales Entry Layout chosen on the Defaults tab of the Sales Order Entry Preferences window.
Default Location
This drop-down is only visible if you have Multi-Location Inventory (MLI) installed. It is the default location that will be used for your stock items.
Salesperson
Use this drop-down to select the salesperson assigned to this batch. This defaults to the salesperson you selected on the Defaults tab of the Sales Order Entry Preferences window.
