Canceling a Hold or Quote
When a customer decides to cancel a hold or quote, retrieve the transaction and clear it.
If a credit card has been authorized for this transaction with credit card authorization software, you cannot change the transaction, but must void it instead and enter a new transaction. For more information on how to do this, see

To cancel a hold or quote:
1 From the Sales Order Entry or Sales POS Register window, select Transaction > Retrieve Transaction > Hold (or Quote).
2 In the Lookup that appears, choose the transaction you want to cancel.
3 With the transaction in view, select Transaction > Void from menu bar. All information on the transaction is cleared.
