AR Collection window
The Collection Report provides information related to the current status of collection activity and financial history for each customer. The collection status is derived from information entered into your customer master records and the financial history is derived from posted transactions.
Sort By
Select the method to sort your customer records from the following options:
• Customer Number
• Customer Type
• Customer Name
• Salesperson Code
• Biller Code
• Transaction Type
• Date
• Document #
• Billing Zip Code
• User-Defined Fields (if defined)
Report Type
Select a report type from this drop-down list. The options are:
• Detailed: This prints the activity detail for each customer.
• Summary: This prints the totals for each
AR Code in each aging period.
Aging Periods
Enter the range of Aging Periods to include in the report. The Aging Periods are defined by your settings in the
AR Code window. There are five periods, 0-4. The current period is 0.
AR Code
Accept the default of
ALL to select all the customers that meet the remaining criteria in the window, regardless of their
AR Code. You can enter a specific AR Code to include only customers with the specified code.
Last Payment Date
Select this check box if you want to include customers based on their last payment date.
If you only want to print customers that have not had payments recorded in their accounts by a specific date, uncheck the check box and enter a date in the box or select a date from the drop-down calendar.
Filter
Use the drop-down to select a User-Defined Field to use as a filter for the report. These fields are set up in the
AR Module Preferences window. If you do not want to use a UDF as a filter, leave the default of <
None>.
Customer / Name / Total Due / Type / UDF
Enter a starting and ending value in the Customer, Name, Type, and/or User-Defined Field boxes to further define the report information. Only items within the range or ranges selected will appear on the report. Keep the defaults of Start and End to select all items that meet the remaining criteria in the window.
Any customer accounts with a total due outside the total due range are excluded. The range can be from any negative number to any positive number, such as -$1000.00 to $3000.00.
