AR History window
The History Report prints details about posted transactions. It prints invoices, charges, payments, payment corrections, unapplied payments, and unapplied credits.
Sort By
Select from the following options to sort your customers and determine how the information will appear on the report.
• Customer Number
• Customer Type
• Customer Name
• Salesperson Code
• Biller Code
• Transaction Type
• Date
• Document #
• User-Defined Fields (if defined)
AR Code
Accept the default of
ALL to select customers regardless of their
AR Code. You can enter a specific AR Code to include only customers with the specified code.
Additional Filter
Use the drop-down to select a User-Defined Field to use as a filter for the report. These fields are set up in the
AR Module Preferences window. If you do not want to use a UDF as a filter, leave the default of <
None>.
Report Type
Select the type of report you want to print from the Report Type drop-down. The following types are available:
• History Detailed: Includes the full history of all items posted to Accounts Receivable and Sales for each customer.
• History Condensed: Include totals for the transaction types for each customer.
• History Summary: Includes totals for the transaction types.
• Payment to Invoice: Includes a history of payments and the invoices to which they were applied.
• Invoice to Payment: Includes a history of invoices and specifies if a transaction has been posted in Accounts Receivable to pay for the specific invoice.
NOTE: If you use balance forward customer types, the Payment to Invoice Report or the Invoice to Payment Report might indicate that certain invoices have been "Applied to" or "Applied by" the balance forward. However, the report actually shows that these invoices were rolled into the balance forward, or conversely, that the balance forward amounts include these invoices. |
Customer / Name / Date / Type / UDF
Enter a starting and ending value in the Customer, Name, Type, and/or User-Defined Field (if defined) boxes to further define the information that should appear in the report. Only items within the range or ranges selected will appear on the report. Keep the defaults of Start and End to select all items that meet the remaining criteria in the window.
The Start and End date boxes will auto-fill with the beginning date of your fiscal calendar and the current transaction date, respectively. Type the dates or use the drop-down calendars to change the dates if necessary.
Date Range
From the drop-down, select a
predefined period to run the report for.
