When you import your fund accounts into Denali, you must define whether your fund segments will be at the beginning or end of your accounts. Choose the Prefix or Suffix radio button to define the location of your fund segment. You will not be able to change this account position after you save it here.

When you import your fund accounts, you must have at least one fund segment defined. Enter your fund segment here or leave the default of ADMN. You can add fund segments in Denali, but you will not be able to rename this one. This fund will have a restricted transfer type, but you can edit it in the GL Set Up Funds window.

In this field define how many segments, in addition to the fund segment, you will have in your accounts and how long each segment will be. For example, if you will have 3 segments in your account that will each be 4 characters long, you would enter 4, 4, 4. Or if you have 2 segments in your account that will be 4 and 5 characters long, you would enter 4, 5. The fund segment will be either before or after these segments, depending on whether you selected Prefix or Suffix.

You will not be able to reduce the number or length of these segments in Denali, but you can increase the length and add additional segments.

From the drop-down, select the account segment separator you want to use. You can choose a period, dash, back slash, or forward slash. You can change this option in Denali.
