CMS Module Preferences window: General tab
Use the General tab to define general preferences throughout Denali, including the look of the software, how new module windows open, and purge settings for conversion and integration reports.
Click module icon to open new instance
Select this check box if you want a new instance of a module to open every time you click on a module icon in the menu bar. If you leave it unchecked, when you select a module icon, any open instance of the module will appear. If no open instance exists, a new instance of the module opens.
Purge integration and conversion reports after 30 days
Select this check box if you want the system to automatically purge existing integration or conversion reports 30 days after you generate them. You can manually purge these reports in Controller using the options available under the Reports menu.
Use classic navigation
If you select a check box next to a module, you will only be able to access windows from the menu bar for that module. You will not have access to the workflow, navigation pane, information area, or report previews. Classic navigation will be active the next time you launch the module.
Enhanced Security Login
Select this check box if you want to use enhanced password security. The following will be required:
• every user will be required to have a password.
• each password must contain at least 8 characters (up to 200) and include at least 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, 1 special character, and 1 number.
• passwords must be changed every 90 days; a prompt will be given beginning on the 85th day, and on the 90th day users will not be able to access Denali until they change their password (the SUP user can reset all passwords).
• users cannot use the same password more than once.
• if users enter an incorrect password 3 times, their account will be locked for 30 minutes. An administrator can unlock the account by
resetting the password or unchecking the
Locked check box on the user record in the
CMS Add/Change Users window.
Enable multiple organization log in
With this check box checked you can switch between organizations without having to log in each time. You must have the same username and password set up in each organization. Uncheck this check box in any organization that you want to force users to log into each time.
Maximum number of records in lookups
If your Lookups take a long time to load, you can limit the number of records that appear at one time. Enter the number of records you want to appear when Lookups load. The minimum is 10,000 and the maximum is 1,500,000 (if you run Denali in 32bit, Lookups will show a maximum of 100,000 records).
If you’re looking for a specific record that doesn’t appear, use the Contains field at the top of the Lookup to search for it.
