Use this window to reset user passwords. You must have security rights to access it.
Enter the User ID for the user whose password you want to reset.
The user name will appear here.
Type the new password for this user. Passwords can be up to 200 alphanumeric characters and are case sensitive. The following characters cannot be used when you create a password: quotation marks (“), angle brackets (< >), pipes (|), or dashes (-).
If you have Enhanced Security turned on in
sModule Preferences, you must also meet the following requirements:
• a password is required for all users.
• it must contain at least 8 characters with at least 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, 1 special character, and 1 numeric character.
Retype the new password for confirmation.
Select this check box if you want to force the user to change the password you created for them the first time they enter Denali. If you select this check box, the password you enter above does not need to be secure. It will not be recorded in password history and the user will be allowed to use it in the future (if it meets the current security requirements).
