PR Adjust Header Information window
Use this window to adjust the header information for specific employees. This information appears on the check and/or
Edit Report. You can access this window when you select the
Edit button in the
Header column of the Prepare Payroll window.
Payroll Description
Enter a description of up to 50 characters for this employee’s check. The description appears on the Edit Report and
Employee History Report.
Payroll Period End Date
Change the period end date for this employee if it’s different than the main payroll date. This date appears on the check or direct deposit stub and the Edit Report.
Check Comment
This field auto-fills with the comment from the header section of the Prepare Payroll window. You can type a different comment for this employee here.
Check Date
Change the check date for this employee if it’s different than the main payroll date. This date appears on the employee’s check or direct deposit stub and the Edit Report.
Check #
If you previously assigned a check number to this transaction, the check number displays in this field, but you can edit it if you need to adjust the check number.
Direct Deposit Transaction
This check box is only enabled if direct deposit is
set up for this employee and is checked by default. If you want to print a check for this employee for this payroll, uncheck this check box and no direct deposit will be created. If the direct deposit status is set to
Send prenote, the prenote will be sent even if you uncheck the check box.
Reset
Select this button to reset all the window information to the default settings.
