PR Update Tax Codes window
Use this window to update your existing Tax Codes or add new Tax Codes.
Source 
Use this drop-down to select how you want to retrieve Tax Code updates. Your options are Internet or Local. If you select Internet, the system will retrieve updated files from the Cougar Mountain website. If you select Local, the Local Drive Path field will default to the PR Taxes folder in the Denali installation path, but you can change it if necessary.
Local Drive Path 
This field is only enabled if you selected Local from the Source drop-down and defaults to the PR Taxes folder in the Denali installation path. If you want to use a different location, click the browse button to select the location where you saved the updated Tax Codes from the Denali flash drive.
Update 
The check boxes in this column are disabled until you define a CMS Tax Code for the Tax Code. The check boxes will default to checked for any Tax Codes that have an update available. You can uncheck the check boxes for any Tax Codes you don’t want to update.
Tax Code 
This fields in this column are informational and display the Tax Codes you defined for your organization.
CMS Tax Code 
The fields in this column allow you to select a CMS Tax Code to associate with Tax Codes you defined for your organization. Tax Codes must be associated with a CMS Tax Code to update through this window.
If this field is blank, use the Lookup to select a Tax Code.
You will need to manually update most local Tax Codes through the PR Tax Codes window.
Description 
This fields in this column are informational and display the description you entered for this Tax Code. After you run the Tax Update, the description will be updated to match the CMS Tax Code description.
Tax Type 
This fields in this column are informational and display the tax type for this Tax Code.
Update Available 
This fields in this column indicate whether you have the latest available version of your Tax Codes.
Yes: the Tax Code is outdated.
No: the Tax Code is up to date.
Invalid Code: the Tax Code is invalid.
Update 
This button is enabled if you select the Update check box for one or more Tax Codes. Select this button to update the Tax Codes you selected.
Add 
Select this button to open the PR Add Tax Codes window and add a new Tax Code.
Close 
Select this button to close the window.
