SalesCS > Sales > Point of Sale Tasks > Sales POS Register Login window

Before you begin entering transactions in Point of Sale, you may need to specify which Register and Salesperson Code you’ll be using, and enter a password and/or starting balance.

Use the drop-down list to specify the register to use for this set of sales transactions.

Salesperson

Use the drop-down list to enter your Salesperson Code. This will determine your security for the transactions.

Password

Enter the password for the Salesperson Code to open the register.

Starting Balance

If required, enter the starting balance for the register for this session. If this box is inactive, then the starting balance has been established by the Sales Administrator.

Set this register as default

If this is the register that is used most frequently, you can use this check box to set it as the default. This will eliminate the need to specify which register to use unless you’re using a different register.

Select this button to log in to the register with the specified settings.
