Sales Set Up Sales Entry Layout window: Customers tab
Use this tab to designate which customer information will display during sales entry. The following options are available:
Hide Customer Information when opening Sales Transaction 
If this check box is selected, the Customer Information section of the sales entry window will be minimized when you open Sales Order Entry window or the Sales POS Register window.
Display the Financial History button 
Select this check box to provide access to customer financial history information when entering transactions.
Display the Transaction History button 
Select this check box to provide access to the selected customer’s transaction history information when entering transactions.
Display the Notes button 
Select this check box to allow access to customer notes when entering transactions.
Automatically show existing notes 
This check box is only available if the Display the Notes button check box is checked. If you want customer notes to automatically show in the Entry window when you select a customer with notes, check this box.
Display the Billing Address 
Select this check box to display the customer’s billing address when entering transactions.
Display the Shipping Address 
Select this check box to display the customer’s shipping address when entering transactions.
Display the Tax Based On dropdown menu 
This option is only available if you are integrated to AvaTax. Select this check box to display a drop-down from which you can choose if the sales tax is based on the shipping or billing address. If you don’t display this drop-down, the sales tax will be based on your selection in the Sales Set Up AvaTax Integration window.
