PR Employee Management window: Direct Deposit tab
Use this tab to define direct deposit information for your employees or view the direct deposit report. If you want to print a check for an employee that has direct deposit set up, uncheck the
Direct Deposit Transaction check box in the
Adjust Header Information window in Prepare Payroll.
Add New Row
Select this button to open the
PR Employee Direct Deposit window. You can add direct deposit information for the selected employee in this window.
Direct Deposit Report
This button is enabled when you select an employee in the
Employee Number field. Select this button to open the
PR Direct Deposit Report window.
Direct Deposit Information
This grid displays the direct deposits you set up for the selected employee. The information in the grid is read-only, however you can click the
Edit button and double-click a row to open the
PR Employee Direct Deposit window and edit the information. You can drag-and-drop the rows to change the priority order.
Priority
This column shows the priorities of the direct deposits you set up. You can drag-and-drop the rows to change the order.
NOTE: When you set up percentages, the lower-priority percentages calculate based on the amount remaining, so it’s important to have the rows in the correct order. |
Bank Account Number
This displays the employee’s direct deposit bank account number.
Route/Transit Number
This displays the routing or transit number for the employee’s bank.
Description
This displays the description for the direct deposit account.
Type
This indicates whether the account is a checking or savings account.
Status
This column displays the status of the account: Inactive, Send Prenote, Prenote Sent, or Active. The account must be active if you want to use it for direct deposit transactions.
Amount/Percent
This column displays the dollar amount or percentage of the amount remaining that should be sent to the corresponding bank account.
Date Sent
This column shows the date the prenote file was sent.
