PR Enter / Edit Daily Units window
Use this window to edit daily units you imported from a time clock or to manually create daily units for an employee. If you use QuickBooks Time and you need to edit hours for employees that have the Use only QuickBooks Time to adjust hours check box selected on their employee records, delete the employees from this window, make changes in QuickBooks Time, and import the units again.
Employee Number 
Enter the employee number or use the Lookup to select the employee number you want to add or edit daily units for. After you select an employee, this field is disabled.
Daily Units
Use the grid to add or edit the date, pay rate, and hours worked for regular and other units. You can only edit or delete records that are not included in a batch. To delete a record, right-click in the first column and select Delete Row.
If you need to edit daily units for an employee that's in a batch, remove them from the payroll run. You can add them back into the payroll after you finish your edits.
Date 
This column displays the date for imported units. If you are manually creating daily units, enter a date or select one from the drop-down.
Pay Rate 
This column displays the Pay Rate Code for imported units. If you are manually creating daily units, enter a Code or select one from the Lookup.
Job Number (Business product only) 
This column only appears if Payroll is integrated to Job Cost. Type the job for this pay rate or use the Lookup to select the job.
Phase (Business product only) 
This column only appears if Payroll is integrated to Job Cost. Type the phase for this pay rate or use the Lookup to select the phase.
Process Code (Business product only) 
This column only appears if Payroll is integrated to Job Cost. Type the Process Code for this pay rate or use the Lookup to select the Code. If you selected a job and/or phase, the Lookup is filtered by your selections.
Project Code 
This column auto-fills with the Project Code attached to the Pay Rate. You can enter a different Project Code or use the Lookup to select one, if applicable.
Regular 
For imported units, this column displays the regular units worked. If you are manually creating daily units, enter the regular hours worked.
Other Units 1  
For imported units, this column displays the other units worked. If you import salary units from QuickBooks Time, this field is disabled. If you are manually creating daily units, enter the other unit hours worked.
Other Units 2 
For imported units, this column displays the other units worked. If you import salary units from QuickBooks Time, this field is disabled. If you are manually creating daily units, enter the other unit hours worked.
Equipment Units (Business product only) 
This column only appears if Payroll is integrated to Job Cost and is enabled after you enter a Process Code. Enter the number of equipment units for this pay rate.
Units Produced (Business product only) 
This column only appears if Payroll is integrated to Job Cost and is enabled after you enter a Process Code. This field auto-fills with the units from the Process Code, but you can change it.
Batch Number 
This column is read-only and displays the batch number if the record is in a batch.
Vacation 
If you import units from QuickBooks Time, this column displays vacation units. If you import units through the Import Daily Units window, this field is blank, but you can enter vacation units. This field is disabled for Piece Work pay rates.
Sick 
If you import units from QuickBooks Time, this column displays sick units. If you import units through the Import Daily Units window, this field is blank, but you can enter sick units. This field is disabled for Piece Work pay rates.
PTO 
If you import units from QuickBooks Time, this column displays PTO units. If you import units through the Import Daily Units window, this field is blank, but you can enter PTO units. This field is disabled for Piece Work pay rates.
Holiday 
If you import units from QuickBooks Time, this column displays holiday units. If you import units through the Import Daily Units window, this field is blank, but you can enter holiday units. This field is disabled for Piece Work pay rates.
Compensation 
If you import units from QuickBooks Time, this column displays compensation units. If you import units through the Import Daily Units window, this field is blank, but you can enter compensation units. This field is disabled for Piece Work pay rates.
Other 
If you import units from QuickBooks Time, this column displays other units. If you import units through the Import Daily Units window, this field is blank, but you can enter other units. This field is disabled for Piece Work pay rates.
Print 
This button opens the PR Daily Units Report window.
