You can set the default date in the organization by using the CMS Organization Information window in Controller.

You can use these options to specify if you want the software to use the Global Denali Date (the date you specify in Controller) or the Computer Date (the date stored in your computer). Both choices give the option to prompt or not to prompt each time the software opens. You can look at the status bar at the bottom of the Denali window at any time to see which date the software is using (see The Status Bar).

You can change the default date by setting different transaction dates in each module. This can be useful, for example, if you want to enter invoices that were received and paid a month ago.
