AP Vendors window: History tab
This tab displays information on your transaction history with this vendor. You can display information for invoices only, payments only, adjustments only, or all transaction types by selecting the corresponding button at the bottom of the window. You can also see transaction details for a specific transaction by selecting the transaction in the grid and clicking the View Detail button.
Search for Type 
Use this field to indicate which type of search you want to conduct, such as transaction, reference number, transaction date, due date, the original amount of the transaction, or the discount amount available. The default field to search by is <All Records>.
History Grid
Refer to the grid on this tab for details about the history of specific transactions. Use your mouse or select ENTER to drill-down to the AP History Report for a specific transaction. If you select an invoice or charge, the Invoice to Payment Report appears. If you select a payment, the Payment to Invoice Report appears.
Type 
This field displays the type of transaction, which you chose at the time this transaction was entered.
Reference # 
This field displays the reference number you assigned to this transaction.
Tran Date 
This field displays the date of the transaction.
Due Date 
This field displays the date the transaction is due. For a payment, the transaction date is displayed here.
Orig Amount 
This field displays the original amount of the transaction before any discounts.
Discount 
This field displays the discount amount taken or available.
View Detail 
You can use this button to see detailed information about the selected transaction. Select a transaction in the grid and then click the View Detail button to pull up information such as individual line types, stock numbers, expense accounts, and quantities.
Invoices / Payments / Adjustments / All 
You can use these buttons to search for specific types of transactions or to view all of the transactions for the selected vendor.
